Yashar is the Co-Founder and VP of Product Development at IntuiTap medical. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and brings over ten years of experience in product design and manufacturing, which includes extensive research and development experience across different stages of product design process. He and his team formed IntuiTap Medical upon completion of the Biodesign Innovation Fellowship at the Texas Medical Center (TMC), where they discovered the need for accurate spinal needle placements after performing more than 250 hours of clinical rotations in different TMC facilities. He currently runs IntuiTap’s office in Chicago.
