Rick is a senior member of IEEE, founder and CEO of Polysense Technologies. Polysense develops distributed fiber sensor and LPWAN LoRa/NB-IoT/LTE CAT -M wireless sensor product and solutions for industrial IoT with distributed data analytic. It is located in Santa Clara, California, also with offices in Beijing and Shanghai China.

Prior to Polysense, he co-founded and served as CTO/VP engineering for Salira Systems; Rick also served as VP marketing at Cortina System; Senior director of strategy and technology at Broadcom Corporation; VP engineering for Crossbow Technologies; senior engineering manager at Cisco Systems. 

Rick is a recognized expert on Internet, Broadband Access, and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). He advises multiple Silicon Valley startup companies, and is an invited member of Technology Planning Committee of a major city in China.
