Ed Nachel received his A.S.E.T. degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, Chicago, a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of IL, Chicago. He has held various positions within the industrial control business sector and is currently Applications Engineer, Machine Safety and Industrial Controls for elobau sensor technology, Inc. in Waukegan, IL. as well as a certified Functional Safety Engineer, TÃœV Rheinland. He is also a past member of the CSIA (Control Systems Integrators Association) and the AHTD (Association for High Tech. Distribution). He has written hundreds of training courses for various Colleges and is currently working with the Safety Engineering College at Northern IL University to which elobau sensor technology donated programmable safety systems and sensors.
